“ Most agents seem to say basically the same thing.”
If you’ve ever went through the frustration, agony, and confusion of interviewing multiple agents for the position of listing your home you will probably notice that they all claim to be miracle workers who promise the world. They all have very elaborate marketing plans, they can all supposedly get you top dollar for your home, and they all claim to be the best agent for the Job.
How do I set myself apart from the competition?
First and foremost the most important qualities I have that set me apart from other agents is that I’m straightforward, honest and trustworthy. Most agents don’t have many listings therefore listing your home becomes very important. They will say anything to get you to sign. Even if it is stretching the truth, or promising something they can’t deliver in hopes of getting your listing now and dealing with the repercussions after your under contract.
I value your business. By working diligently, and being honest with you from the beginning and throughout the transaction, I hope to gain your trust and respect as a highly competent highly qualified Realtor. I also value your future business and referrals, and hope to earn them with these ethics.
Secondly, I feel my work ethics and business strategies differ from most agents. You see over 95% of agents are passive agents, meaning they sit and wait for your home to sell itself. The MLS, various ads and websites are just the beginning of promoting your home with me.Although I offer one of the most thorough and aggressive advertising systems in the business, as you may review in this booklet, I refuse to sit with my fingers crossed and wait for your home to sell. Remember advertising can be very effective but it is NOT predictable. I am an aggressive and ACTIVE Realtor! I will actively call and door knock homes and ask them specifically if they would like to buy your home or if they know someone who would. These methods, along with other active forms of advertising are very effective but require work. Most agents would rather put an ad in the paper or send out mailers then actively work for you. I’m sure you can think of many mailers you’ve received from agents, but when was the last time someone knocked on your door and asked you if you had any family or friends who would be interested in moving into your neighborhood?
